“Tell your stories first, otherwise someone else might tell them for you, and you may not like their version” ~ Author Kindra Hall
Agriculture carries a deep history shaped by generations of families who have worked the land and built their lives around feeding others. Yet the people who grow and produce our food are often too busy doing the work to tell those stories themselves.
When these voices go unheard, others step in to tell their story. Oftentimes, these people do not understand the work, the challenges, or the legacy behind it.
Through The Growers Table, I actively write, develop, and publish editorial and story-driven content that brings these voices to the forefront.
With more than three decades of experience across the agriculture industry, I combine firsthand knowledge with a storyteller’s perspective to create meaningful, accurate, and engaging narratives.
This work includes written features, grower profiles, interviews, photography, and original editorial content focused on the people, places, and practices behind our food.
I am continually seeking out new stories to tell and welcome the opportunity to connect directly with farmers, growers, producers, and food organizations to learn their stories firsthand and share them with a broader audience.
Content created by The Growers Table brings these stories forward in a way that accurately and respectfully reflects their history, values, and legacy.
If you are open to sharing your family legacy, your work, or the story behind what you do, I would welcome the opportunity to connect, learn more, and write and publish your story through The Growers Table.
