Last summer, I bought some orange-flavored olive oil and a fig balsamic vinegar at our local farmers’ market. The vendor was experimenting with a new salad dressing recipe, and he asked me to taste-test it. I was pleasantly surprised! This pairs well with any baby mixed green salad. I also use it as a marinade for grilled chicken.
Orange and Fig Vinaigrette

Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Orange olive oil
- 1/4 Cup Fig balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Honey
- 1/2 Teaspoon Trader Joe's onion chili crunch (optional)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- Salt to taste

- Mix all ingredients in a jar and shake vigorously. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to use.
